guys ive run into a...plateau?im not even sure what to call it....when you lift hard enough to gain you get sore but lately over the past few weeks no matter what i do my muscles just dont get sore.ive tried upping the weight and upping the reps, supersetting, doing multiple exercies (ie bench extension kickbacks and skullcrushers) working out back to back days even cardio and i just cant get a muscle sore!am i still gaining even tho im not sore?whats happening?has anyone had this before?

Sorry for the delay man..LOL  Yes you have hit the almighty plateau! The things that have worked for me in the past are: Taking one week off and not doing ANYTHING, or switch up your entire workout.If you have been going heavy go light and vice versa. You need to reshock your body into new growth. I prefered to take a week off that way I was jacked to get back in the gym!

if i went on the light lifting would it be as effective and how long would i have to lift light for?

as for the other idea,how effective would it be if i just didnt workout for a week?would this cause a higher peak size and strength?

It would be a good break, only do it for 3 weeks and you will be fine.  Again I really had great experience taking a whole week off.

another question plagues me now...how do you strengthen a rotator cuff?i tore mine in my left shoulder today swimming,hurts and is somewhat immobile,oh and did i mention this is the 6th time ive torn it in the past 2 years....ive never torn the right one only the left...weird
